How it all started..

How does treemendus grow?

Treemendus isn’t so much a phoenix from the flames, more a phoenix from the ash. You see in 2003 I stopped smoking!! I decided with all those thousands of pounds everyone said I’d save I would go out a buy some of those “Limited Edition Locomotives”  then put them away in the loft and when I am no more than ash myself, the grandkids can flog them on e-bay.

Hold on!! I actually like these types of models and decided to build a little diorama to display them on, a bit of track, an embankment and hang on, how about a tree or two! Now, how do I go about making a model tree?

That’s how it all started and the seed was sown, I then embarked on a mission to create the very best available handmade model trees on the market today. Having grown Bonsai trees for many years I knew what various trees should look like. Now, after many long hours of bending and twisting wire and of course taking lots of advice from various people who I now consider to be very good friends I think I have succeeded.
